Driver Risk Management & Training

If you employ 5 or more people in the UK, then you’re probably aware that you have a legal duty to manage health and safety, and to make sure it’s all documented. Where an employee drives as part of their work, there is a requirement for that element of their work (driving) to be included as part of the organization’s overall health and safety arrangements. To help our customers meet Health and Safety obligations, we’ve partnered with Adrian Hide Consultancy, a UK road safety specialist with over 30 years’ experience in driver risk management.

Driver Risk Management Services:

Essential

Driver Risk Management Toolkit – ideal for businesses who have had previous experience in implementing a driver risk management programme, but, don’t have the resources to hand to achieve this. The Toolkit contains everything required, templates, sample policy, applications forms and even a comprehensive guide on how to plan, introduce and manage driver safety in the workplace. 

Platinum

This is a consultancy led approach, rather than leaving my client to work their way through the Toolkit, I plan, manage and create all of the essential documents, then guide the business through every stage of the implementation process. This approach is ideal for businesses who simply want an expert to take care of things on their behalf.

Platinum Plus

All the features of Platinum, with the addition of the business outsourcing the day-to-day tasks of managing the drivers within their business, taking care of induction training, license checks, vehicle safety checks, a driver risk management platform and, annual policy review. The cost £995 plus VAT plus a monthly subscription on a per person/driver basis, a quotation for this element will be provided on request.

Driver Training:

One of the most efficient and cost-effective training delivery models is online learning.  We currently have three courses available:

  • Safer Van Driving
  • Eco-Safe driving (for drivers of cars)
  • Electric vehicles (for those new to driving and EV or those wanting to get the best out of their EV and its capabilities)

Workshops:

Director and Manager workshop – Helps the business to understand and manage driver safety well, a must following the introduction of a driver risk management programme. Hosted at the client’s base, typically 4 hours for up to 20 people.
